This dovecote or pigeons loft is suitable for holding various types of domestic doves. The best location to place the dovecote is a quiet and somewhat sheltered spot, with an obstacle-free approach route for the dove. It’s important to clean the dovecote at least once a week. Place the dovecote on a pole with a thickness of 9 cm (3.5”) and a length of 4 meters (13.1 ft). Set the pole a meter deep, so the dovecot is placed at a height of 3 meters (9.8 ft).
